Based in Hood River, Oregon, right across the Columbia River from White Salmon, I photograph people who want something a little different! From underwater fine art and boudoir to maternity, portraits, weddings, elopements and adventure sessions, the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge gives us an incredible place to create!
White Salmon is adventure country! The White Salmon River is known for incredible whitewater rafting and kayaking, including the Class V Husum Falls! Right above town, Burdoin Mountain—also known locally as Hospital Hill—offers hiking, mountain biking and paragliding! In winter, you’ll even see people combining snowboarding with kite-powered riding and flying on the mountain—which is pretty freaking badass!
Head north toward Trout Lake and Mount Adams and you’ll find forests, wildflowers, open fields, mountain views, beautiful backroads and even more opportunities for adventure! Whether we’re chasing light near Mount Adams, heading toward the Gorge, getting in the water or finding some completely unexpected little spot along the way, there’s no shortage of places to create something amazing!
No modeling experience? Perfect! I’ll guide you through the entire thing so you can relax, have fun and walk away with photographs that actually feel like you!

get to know me
Hi, I’m Tobi! I was born right here in White Salmon at Skyline Hospital, and I’ve called the Columbia River Gorge home my entire life. I’ve watched this place change from the little logging and fruit-packing community I grew up in into the destination it is today. I know these mountains, rivers, forests, waterfalls and backroads because they’ve been my playground my whole life.
That local knowledge is a huge part of how I photograph. Whether we’re chasing light near Mount Hood, heading toward Trout Lake and Mount Adams, finding a waterfall, getting in the water or creating something completely unexpected, I know just how much this place has to offer.
