I'm a Columbia River Gorge native, and damn proud of it!!! I get to call one of the most ridiculously beautiful places on earth HOME, Hood River, Oregon, the Windsurfing Capital of the World!!! I've spent my life exploring this playground, so I know the hidden overlooks, backroads, river spots, mountain views, waterfalls, wildflower fields, and those secret little pockets of magic you're not going to find on some tourist map. This is MY backyard, and I know exactly where the good stuff is!!!
Adventure has always been in my blood!!! Give me a mountain, a river, an ocean, or something slightly questionable and I'm IN!!!! I ski every winter, paddleboard, whitewater raft, ride horses, dirt bikes and mountain bikes, fly my drone, jump out of perfectly good airplanes, and I've swum with sharks (no cage on purpose) and wild dolphins!!! I'm happiest outside, chasing the next adventure and probably carrying a camera while I'm doing it.
But the artist in me came long before the camera. I grew up drawing and painting with my mom, who was both an artist, photographer, florist and nurse. She taught me how to draw and paint, and years ago I even created windsurfing postcards that were sold right here in the Columbia River Gorge. One of my pieces was also displayed at the Maryhill Museum for a while. That creative side of me never went anywhere, I just traded my paintbrush for a camera!
And that camera has taken me to some pretty damn cool places!!! My photography has been featured on the front page of Columbia Gorge News, I've been featured by Ikelite, and my drone footage has made its way onto KGW News. I keep pushing myself through workshops, photography education, and WPPI because I'm always learning, experimenting, and figuring out what I can create next!!!
Photography lets me combine all of that—adventure, creativity, storytelling, and a little bit of beautiful chaos!!! Whether I'm photographing underwater, on a mountaintop, beside a waterfall, on a black-sand beach, or somewhere deep in the Columbia River Gorge, my goal is always the same: create something unforgettable and make the experience just as badass as the photographs!!!

From magazine publications and industry features to local television news and even an interview published in a career book for high school students, seeing where this crazy photography journey takes me never gets old!
My drone photography of winter ice hockey in the Columbia River Gorge landed on the front page of Columbia Gorge News, along with a full collection of my images featured online. The drone video footage was also featured for several days across Portland-area television news, including KGW 8, FOX 12 Oregon, KOIN 6, and KATU 2.
I've also been featured and published by Ikelite, Rangefinder Magazine, and Palm Springs Life Magazine.
From underwater fine art and boudoir to weddings, portraits, and the wild places I get to photograph along the way, I love creating images that make people stop, look twice, and remember them!
