Based in Hood River, Oregon, I photograph people who want something a little different. From underwater fine art and boudoir to maternity, portraits, weddings, elopements and adventure sessions, the Columbia River Gorge gives us one hell of a backdrop. Hood River is known as the windsurfing capital of the world, and adventure is pretty much built into life here.
You can windsurf, kitesurf, foil, paddleboard or kayak on the Columbia River, then head toward Mount Hood to ski or snowboard. There are hiking trails, waterfalls, orchards, vineyards, wildflowers, forests and dramatic landscapes practically everywhere we turn. Whether we’re creating something underwater, heading into the Gorge, chasing waterfalls or catching the last light of the day, there are endless ways to turn this place into part of your photographs.
No modeling experience? Perfect. I’ll guide you through the entire thing so you can relax, have fun and walk away with photographs that actually feel like you.

get to know me
Hi, I’m Tobi! I’ve called the Columbia River Gorge home my entire life, and I’ve watched this place change from the little logging and fruit-packing community I grew up in into the destination it is today. I know these mountains, rivers, forests, waterfalls and backroads because they’ve been my playground my whole life.
That local knowledge is a huge part of how I photograph. Whether we’re chasing light near Mount Hood, heading into the Gorge, finding a waterfall, getting in the water or creating something completely unexpected, I know just how much this place has to offer.
